GRATITUDE Round-Up {Self-Discovery, Word by Word}
All I can say is WOW!!! I’m having a hard time expressing all the gratitude I feel for all of the amazing bloggers who took time for self-reflection in the name of the Self-Discovery, Word by Word series. Each of these bloggers reflected on the idea of gratitude over the course of the past two weeks and published their own thoughts and perspectives on this concept. The posts are all as unique as the amazing people who wrote them, and I truly learned something about the idea of gratitude from each and every one. I hope, if you haven’t done so, you’ll take some time for yourself to read each of these posts and reflect on gratitude for yourself. I promise you will learn something that will totally blow you away.
Today, I am grateful for all of you!

Mara ::
I’m grateful for being alive. Life has become more meaningful to me as I’ve become more mindful of what matters to me. Not solely existing, but being. Feeling. Not merely living to work a job and deal with everyday troubles, but living with higher priorities in mind and soul. Connecting with my spirit. Feeding myself spiritually. Connecting with and caring for others. Letting go of a superficial world view, and growing towards a more complex one. It’s all about love, it turns out. Giving love and receiving love. This way it’s easy to love life and being grateful for being alive. I’m grateful to have learned this lesson and to be able to pass it on to inspire others.

Caitlin @ Healthy Tipping Point ::
I wake up every morning and I thank God for many things. At the top of this list is probably thanking my body for the wonderful things it can do. Love, laugh, run, think, hug, pray, sing, dance. I think it is so important to be grateful for these simple actions, as so many people cannot do many of these things. I try to live my life with purpose and kindness, as I believe it’s the best way to say “Thank you” for all the opportunities that I have been given._______________________________________________________________________________________________________

Flying to Portland Saturday. I guess I know what I’ll be reading on the plane. I look forward to giving them all the time they deserve. I wonder though, will who ever sits next to me on my flight have enough Kleenex to get me through it…?
Thank you.

UGH the interwebs ate my comment…
Anyway, I was just going to say how I think we are all grateful for you, Ashley, and for this wonderful topic to kickoff the series. I’ve been going through all the links, and it’s just amazing how an attitude of appreciation can spread and creative positivity, even among strangers. :)
Also, I love Mara’s point about really FEELING, not just existing.
Thanks again to everyone for participating!

Thanks for providing some good information on this topic. I have sought out a wide variety of savvy ideas about natural health and some unreliable ideas. Do you have any more honest ideas or places on the Internet that I can find more detailed information? This would be quite appreciated! Either way, keep up the good work!
